ہندوستان کے علاوہ G7 سمٹ کے میزبان جرمنی نے بھی ارجنٹائن، انڈونیشیا، سینیگال اور جنوبی افریقہ کو اس سمٹ کے مہمانوں کے طور پر مدعو کیا ہے تاکہ عالمی جنوب کی جمہوریتوں کو اپنے شراکت دار کے طور پر تسلیم کیا جا سکے۔
