قارئین کرام! جب ہم اپنے پڑوسی ملک پاکستان کی حالت زار دیکھتے ہیں، تو ہمیں افسوس و ندامت ہوتی ہے کہ کیا کوئی ایسا ملک ہے جو کہ ابھی بھی غلام ہے، جب ہم اس نقطہ نظر سے پڑوسی ملک پاکستان کا جائزہ لیتے ہیں تو ہمیں اندازہ تا ہے پاکستان نہ صرف غلام ملک ہے، بلکہ وہاں کی اپوزیشن، فوج اور عدلیہ غلامی کو امرت سمجھ کر ابھی بھی اس کے پیچھے لگی ہوئیں ہیں، یوں تو پاکستان ہندستان کے ساتھ ہی آزاد ہوا تھا، لیکن اس ملک کو آزادی زیادہ راس نہیں آئی ہے، اس لیے آزادی کے دو سال بھی ہی پاکستان اپنا نیا اتحادی تلاش کرنا شروع کر دیا، سب سے پہلے نئے اتحادی کا آفر ہندستان کو ہی دیا گیا تھا، اور نہرو جی کے زمانے میں پاکستان کی جانب سے متحدہ دفاع کی پیشکش کی گئی تھی، جسے نہرو جی نے ٹھکرا دیا، اس کے بعد یکم اکتوبر 1949میں People’s Republic of Chinaکا وجود آیا ہے،پاکستان نے اس کی جانب دوستی کا ہاتھ بڑھایا، 1950پاکستان نے چین کو تسلیم کر لیا، اس طرح سے پاکستان تیسرا غیر کمیونٹ ملک اور پہلا مسلم ملک بنا جس نے کے چین کو تسلیم کیا۔پاکستان کے اس عمل کی وجہ سے پاکستان اور چین کے مابین تعلقات بڑھنے لگے، 1951تک پاکستان اور چین کے ما بین سیاسی روابط بھی شروع ہو گئے، 1956میں باضابطہ طور پر پاکستان چین تعلقات مزید مستحکم کرنے کے لیے دونوں ممالک کے وزرا کی ملاقات ہوئی، اس طرح سے پاکستان اور چین کے ما بین تعلقات استوار ہوتے چلے گئے۔اس وقت تک پاکستانی کی پالیسی آزاد تھی، اور یہی آزاد پالیسی کا نتیجہ تھا کہ پاکستان نے چین سے متنازعہ سرحدتی علاقہ کے مسئلہ کو بات چیت کے ذریعہ حل کر لیا، چین تیزی سے ترقی کرتا ہوا جارہا تھا اور امریکہ کو چین کی ضرورت تھی، امریکہ نے اس کے لیے بھی پاکستان کا ہاتھ تھاما، پاکستان کی مدد سے 1972میں امریکہ اور چین کی ملاقات ہوئی اور امریکی صدر Richard Nixonنے چین کا دورہ کیا، اس وقت امریکہ کو یہ احساس ہو گیا تھا کہ پاکستان کو اگر قابو میں نہ رکھا گیا تو پاکستان چین کے بعد دوسری بڑی طاقت بن جائے گا، امریکہ نے پاکستان کو قابو میں رکھنے کے لیے وہاں اپنے اثرات بڑھانا شروع کر دیئے، ذولفقار علی بھٹو جو کہ 1971سے لیکر 1974تک پاکستان کے صدر اور پھر بعد میں یعنی کہ 1974پاکستان کے وزیر اعظم بن کر آئے،یہ بھی آزاد اور خود مختار بین الاقوامی پالیسی کے حامی تھے، یہی وجہ ہے کہ انہوں نے سویت یونین کے ساتھ تعلقات استواء کرنا شروع کر دیا ہے، جس کا امریکہ سب سے زیادہ مخالف تھا،امریکہ نے ذو الفقار علی بھٹو کے اس اقدامات کے غلاف اس پر عائد پابندیوں کومزید سخت کردیا، اور پھر پاکستان میں موجود امریکی سفیر بریگیڈیئرجنرل ہنری بائروڈ کے ذریعہ پاکستان پر ڈباؤ ڈلنا شروع کردیا کہ پاکستان اپنی حرکت سے باز آجائے۔یہ پہلا موقع تھا جب کہ امریکہ نے پاکستان کی اندورونی معاملات میں کھل کر مداخلت تھی، لیکن اس کے باوجود ذولفقار علی بھٹو اپنی بات پر اٹل رہیں، اس طرح سے 1972سے پاکستان میں امریکہ کی مداخلت شروع ہوئی اور نتیجہ یہ نکلا کہ ایک بھی پاکستان کے وزیر اعظم کو اس کی میعاد مکمل کرنے نہیں دیا گیا ہے،
